Chapter VIII Supplementary Provisions

Article 53 Definitions in this regulation:

(1) Gas Facilities refer to the collective term for artificial gas production plants, gas storage and distribution stations, gate stations, gasification stations, mixed gas stations, refueling stations, filling stations, supply stations, pressure regulating stations, municipal gas pipelines, etc. This includes municipal gas facilities, gas facilities outside of owner-specific portions within building zones, and indoor gas facilities.

(2) Gas Burning Appliances refer to appliances that use gas as fuel, including gas stoves, water heaters, boilers, heaters, air conditioners, and other appliances used by residential and commercial users.

3.2 Rural Natural Gas Supply Facilities

Various natural gas, compressed natural gas, and liquefied natural gas facilities (including safety accessories, etc.) used in the storage, transportation, distribution, and supply of gas in the supply system for rural natural gas users. These generally include natural gas gate stations, compressed natural gas storage and distribution stations, compressed natural gas cylinder group supply stations, liquefied natural gas vaporization stations, liquefied natural gas cylinder group vaporization stations, pressure regulating stations, metering stations, pressure regulating boxes, distribution pipelines, user pipelines, monitoring and data collection systems, etc. It does not include natural gas transport vehicles and gas vehicle refueling stations.

3.1 Urban Gas Supply Facilities

Various natural gas, compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas facilities (including safety accessories, etc.) used in the storage, transportation, distribution, and supply of gas in the urban gas supply system. These generally include natural gas gate stations and storage and distribution stations, natural gas metering stations, compressed natural gas storage and distribution stations, compressed natural gas cylinder group supply stations, compressed natural gas refueling stations, compressed natural gas vehicle refueling stations, liquefied natural gas vaporization stations, liquefied natural gas refueling stations, liquefied natural gas cylinder group vaporization stations, liquefied petroleum gas filling stations, liquefied petroleum gas storage and distribution stations, liquefied petroleum gas cylinder group vaporization stations, liquefied petroleum gas cylinder filling supply stations, pressure regulating stations, pressure regulating boxes, distribution pipelines, user pipelines, monitoring and data collection systems, etc.
